My good friend Ryan recently asked me to document what I did to take my new headshot photo, so here we go! I'm hardly even a hobbyist photographer, so don't trust everything I say here, I was just winging it.

I have been a full time frontend developer for over 3.5 years, and I am always learning new CSS syntax and concepts. I thought I would share some concepts and features I have only learned in the last year or so that have helped me style and build UIs faster and more easily.


I co-wrote a post about using React Testing Library for the C.H. Robinson Engineering Blog. I've been using React Testing Library for over a year now, but it's recently been enabled by default for new apps across the company. This post covers why we think this is a better approach for testing.
